Jindai Precious wood

Is the nominations of the trees which had been buried on the ground and water for over 3000 years.

In the past, many of then were  buried by the eruption of the volcano  that`s why their wood grain is fine and beautiful.

Jindai refers to "the age of goods which preceded the birth and human"

This woods is very valuable and difficult to obtain.

Due to its austere color tone, it is often used as material for building housing fixtures and industrial crafts.

The wood from this type of tree has also been used in several of the works of Living National Treasures
