The Japan brand of domestic timber

 This species of tree makes up on of the three most beautiful forest in Japan and is produced mostly in the southern central Nara Prefecture. For generations this forest that has been nurtured and thinned from 250 years, has been a popular spot for forest therapy.

Yoshino Cedar has a long history of planting hat started about 500year old in the Muromachi period. It is grown using a unique style called "Yoshino Style" or "Yoshino Forestry" with many tree planted more than 100 or 200 years ago. It was used by Toyotomi Hideyoshi as a material for building temples and castles, such as Osaka Castle and Fushimi Castle among other.
