Palo Santo is called the "sacred tree" and has been cherished by shamans since the time of the Inca Empire.
Therefore, logging is prohibited locally.
Palo santo is not only used as a fragrant tree but also passed down to the indigenous peoples of South America.
One of the most important trees used in traditional natural medicine (ethnobotanical medicine).
It was also said to be a tree that brings happiness.
Oil extracted from withered palo santo is effective for mental stability, sweating, rheumatism, headaches, etc.
It is said to be effective and has been used to alleviate symptoms and pain.
