In Greek mythology, it is said that the yew tree is a symbol of death and regeneration, and has the power to clean the surroundings.

It is sometimes enshrined as a god tree in many shrines and temples, and the origin of the name was named after the person of the highest floor of "Seiichi" on the 12th floor of the crown place where The Great Shogun and Sekihaku, etc. were located, and the shikotsu that had it was made in this first place tree.

The person who took this Yew is the greatest person in the history of Japan such as Tokugawa Ieyasu, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Oda Nobunaga. The Yew is a regular conifer tree often seen in the northeast in Japan, and it is easy to process and be worked even if is hard, cracking and warping are less, and this tree quality is the smooth, shiny, and beautify.
